The Iona Cross DesignBased on the design of St. John's Cross on the Isle of Iona which is a remote island situated off the west coast of Scotland. The island was an early Christian monastic settlement which was founded by St. Columba in 563. The knotwork is reminiscent of the detailed work the Scribes practised during the Dark Ages.
