Celtic art is based on curves, knots and spirals. The early Christian Scribes perfected this art which was revived 2000 years later by the Art Nouveau movement who adopted the fluid sweeping curves of the Celts.
The meanings of the Celtic knots is still a mystery today but we do know that the Celts held a belief that nothing ends and that we will always exist in some form in life and death. The circles and links within the knots came to represent the journey of eternal life, love and faith.
